OH Chamber Committees

The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce couldn't operate effectively with out our numerous committees.  All of our committees are listed below, if you see something that you'd like to help plan or navigate please email John Williams at john@oxfordhillsmaine.com, call the office at 743-2281 or email that committee chair.

Advocacy/Legislative Affairs Committee: The purpose of this committee is to lobby the State Legislative body on behalf of the Oxford Hills Business community.  Meetings are on the first and third Friday of the month from January to March/May and as needed at Norway Savings Bank in Norway.

Christmas Parade Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to plan and execute the annual event, always the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Meetings August - November at the Oxford Hills Chamber Office in South Paris at 7:30 am.

Committee Members: Becky Mason, Sharon Buffington, Mindy Stewart, Steve Galvin

Executive Committee: This is the leadership group of the Chamber BOD, participation in this committee is limited to Chamber BOD only.  Meetings are the fourth Tuesdays of the month at the Oxford Hills Chamber Office at 7:30 am.

Committee Members: Dana Chandler, Terry Hayes, Doug Van Durme, Diana McLaughlin, Helga Thurston, Sue Goulet

Golf Committee: The Chamber's operating budget relies on this dedicated committee.  Their purpose is to plan and execute a successful golf tournament in honor of tournament founder Leon Truman.  Meetings run from March until September at the Oxford Hills Chamber Office in South Paris.

Manufactured Housing Show Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to plan and execute the annual event for the last weekend in April.  Participation mostly limited to manufacturers.  Meetings are second Wednesdays of the month at Alternative Modular Homes at 9:00 am.

Marketing Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to plan and execute the Oxford Hills Magazine, Oxford Hills Map & Guide, tourism publications and other projects.  Meetings are select Tuesdays, once a month.

oh! Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to fulfill social and networking needs of the young folks, target age of 20-40,  living/working in our community.

Showcase Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to plan and execute this annual event in the Spring.  Meetings are from October-April on the third Monday of each month at the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce Office at 7:45.
